You can easily reach your family and business colleagues back home as well as make call anywhere in the world.

How to register before your trip?

At the time of subscription, if customer wants to use International Roaming service, he/she has to mark this service in Registration Note and pay the minimum deposit of VND 3,000,000.

If customer wants to use additional services after registering, he/she has to come to the nearest Vietnamobile store and bring ID to register. The minimum deposit fee for International Roaming Service is VND 3,000,000. The service is applied in case of customer does not own any overdue bills before. 

Remark:

  • The usage limit of International Roaming Service = national usage limit + the deposit amount for International Roaming Service. Therefore, if customer wants to make/receive calls when abroad, he/she should pay higher deposit fee.

What is the charging principle?

* Re-routing charge is the charge to route the call from Vietnamobile’s mobile switching center to Roaming Partner’s mobile switching center where Vietnamobile’s subscriber roams in.
Re-routing charge for receiving call will be automatically adjusted in accordance with Vietnamobile’s latest off net and International Direct Dial tariff.

** Roaming Partner’s charge is the total amount that Vietnamobile has to pay to Roaming Partner according their invoices.

1 In case customers use Call Forward/ Call Divert service when user busy/no answer/ unreachable (out of coverage or out of battery) when using International Roaming, customers will be charged both Incoming call and Outgoing call as mentioned above at the same time with the same duration.
 
Remark:

  • Due to the high roaming tariff, customers should control using roaming service to prevent high usage by the following suggestions:
  • Consider about outgoing and incoming call, turn off voice mail service due to it will be considered as an outgoing call to Vietnam.
  • Consider send SMS to content short code (6xxx, 8xxx….) and other short code due to it will be charged SMS-roaming + fee to such short code which is regulated in Vietnam.
  • Keep using data service such as GPRS, send/ receive email if really necessary. Otherwise, customers should not use data service since customers will be charged by upload/ download kb in accordance with Roaming Partner’s tariff (it’s much more expensive than domestic GPRS tariff)

Tariff

The tariff is just for reference, the real tariff will be based on RP’s charges and exchange rate at the billing to customers. Please select the country, Roaming Partner to refer the tariff. The tariff is excluded VAT. The tariff subjects to be changed without prior notice to customer.
