Hanoi Telecom appoints Dr. Nguyen Hien Phuong as General Director of Vietnamobile
On September 15, 2025, Hanoi Telecom Group officially announced the appointment of Dr. Nguyen Hien Phuong as General Director of Vietnamobile, and will continue to hold the role of Deputy General Director of Hanoi Telecom Group.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Hien Phuong emphasized: “Vietnamobile will continue to promote its own identity, while leveraging the power of the Hanoi Telecom ecosystem to bring more practical values to customers and society. This is the period when we focus on innovation, optimizing services and affirming the role of a pioneering network operator.”
According to her introduction, Ms. Phuong has more than 20 years of experience in operations and management in the fields of finance, telecommunications and IT. She has made important contributions to improving operational capacity, developing infrastructure and promoting digital transformation at Vietnamobile.
Ms. Nguyen Hien Phuong has joined and worked with Hanoi Telecom for many years. In 2008, she worked as an Investment Planning Specialist and Assistant to the General Director and Chairman of Hanoi Telecom.
In 2010, Ms. Phuong took on the role of HSBC Bank Business Director, Global Cash Management & Liquidity Department. In 2014, she moved to the position of Head of Investment Planning Department - Successfully transforming Vietnamobile's business model from BCC to JSC. After that, Ms. Phuong served as Permanent Deputy General Director of HITC, then Deputy General Director of Vietnamobile. In 2020, she was appointed as Deputy General Director of Hanoi Telecom.
